Slaves of Sin – Romans 6:17 (video)

Are “slaves of sin” incapable of turning to God/repenting, as Calvinists claim? This video examines one of Calvinism’s most common arguments for Total Depravity and compares it with the context of Romans 6:17, a passage about “slaves of sin.” We also examine some clear passages that prove God’s commands are doable (Deut. 30:9-20) and that sins are not decreed (1 Cor. 10:13). We also address two of the most popular Calvinist “prooftexts” that supposedly shows that people do not have freewill (John 6:44 and John 6:65).
